Bicycle Land — Website, SSL, Logo, SEO, Google Maps & Google Ads

Website rebuild. We rebuilt the site on WordPress with three priorities: speed, product visibility, and ease of management. The new theme loads fast on mobile — where most of their customers browse — and puts the bikes and scooters front and centre. Product pages are structured to show specifications clearly, because cycling customers research before they buy. The client can now update products and content themselves without needing a developer for every small change.

Website fixes and ongoing maintenance. Since launch, we've handled all site fixes and maintenance. That covers plugin and WordPress core updates, security monitoring, performance checks, broken-link repairs, and any layout or functionality issues that come up. The site stays fast, secure, and working — without the client having to think about it.

Excerpt:
A full digital partnership with a London e-bike and scooter retailer: WordPress website rebuild, SEO, Google Maps optimisation, ongoing site fixes and maintenance, and a Google Ads campaign that brings in high-intent riders.

The Brief

Bicycle Land sells electric bikes, scooters, and accessories from their East London base. They came to us with a slow, hard-to-manage WordPress site, poor visibility on Google, and no consistent way to reach customers beyond word-of-mouth.

They didn’t want a one-off website. They wanted a partner who could handle the whole digital side of the business — the site, the search visibility, the local presence, and the ads — so they could stay focused on the shop.

What We Did

Website rebuild. We rebuilt the site on WordPress with three priorities: speed, product visibility, and ease of management. The new theme loads fast on mobile — where most of their customers browse — and puts the bikes and scooters front and centre. Product pages are structured to show specifications clearly, because cycling customers research before they buy. The client can now update products and content themselves without needing a developer for every small change.

The site stays fast, secure, and working — without the client having to think about it.

SEO. We optimised the site for the terms Bicycle Land's customers actually search for. That meant on-page work (titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking), technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, clean URL structure, schema markup), and content improvements to help the site rank for local and product-specific searches. The goal was to move Bicycle Land up the results for the searches that lead to sales, not vanity traffic.

SEO optimsed to 100% which increased organic traffice to the site and also to the physical store in London. We optimised the site for the terms Bicycle Land's customers actually search for.

Google Maps and local search — 124 local actions in one period.
The Google Business Profile generated 36,905 impressions and 124 local actions in a single measured period. Nearly 30,000 of those impressions came from mobile devices — riders searching while out and about, at the exact moment they were ready to visit. The profile now shows 4.6 stars across 121 Google reviews, giving new customers a reason to choose Bicycle Land before they’ve even walked in.

Google Ads Partner. We set up and run an ongoing Google Ads campaign focused on high-intent search terms. For an e-commerce bike shop, that means a combination of Search and Shopping ads: Search to capture people actively looking for specific bikes or scooter types, and Shopping to show product images, prices, and availability directly in the results.

Google Ads — efficiency at scale.

Why It Worked

Bicycle Land didn’t need a website. They needed a digital partner.

The rebuild gave them a fast, product-led site. SEO made it findable. Google Maps put them in front of local riders at the exact moment they were searching. And Google Ads gave them a predictable, measurable channel — one that delivered clicks at a fraction of the typical cost. Each piece reinforces the others. Every Google review strengthens the Maps presence, which drives more local actions. Every organic click reduces dependence on paid ads over time. Every ad click lands on a fast, product-focused page built to convert. And ongoing maintenance keeps the whole thing working.

That’s the value of a single partner handling everything — instead of five freelancers who never talk to each other.
